Ubisoft's Schedule: I Am Alive, Ghost Recon 4, Assassin's Creed 2
There are plenty of promising titles on tap over the next year, and several of them come from Ubisoft.
Ubisoft has released their 2008/2009 sales report today and as far as the gamer is concerned, the most interesting part of this report was the list of titles scheduled to release during the 09/10 fiscal year. The notable projects include: I Am Alive, an action/survival game similar to the likes of Disaster Report, although more realistic and dynamic; Assassin's Creed 2, which is going to kick all sorts of ass; Splinter Cell: Conviction, which we've been waiting on for quite some time but is unfortunately not coming to the PlayStation 3 (it appears to be a 360 exclusive), and a mini-surprise in the form of Ghost Recon 4. The military/tactical fans out there will view this as good news, and we can't wait to dig up some early information on the fourth Ghost Recon installment; Advanced Warfighter was pretty damn good, remember? We're also intrigued by the new RTS, R.U.S.E., and you can see a GDC Developer Interview video if you wish. Ubisoft is clearly gearing up for the holiday season, as some of these potentially gigantic titles may drop between November and December of this year.
You can bet that we'll see some of these at E3 in June and if other publishers aren't prepared, Ubisoft could really steal the show. Stay tuned for more details and media.
