E3 2009: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker For PSP Announced
And here's Hideo Kojima; it's no coincidence that he steps to the stage immediately after the PSP Go! unveiling.
Why? He's got Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker to unveil! It takes place 10 years after Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater so he calls it a "true sequel in the MGS franchise," and you needn't fear about spinoffs or side stories. Kojima also confirmed that he will be "deeply involved with the title," as he will write the script and furthermore, much of the team behind MGS4 is also contributing to Peace Walker. Snake is definitely coming back to the PSP in fine form, and we can say that because we're currently watching the extremely impressive trailer for it right now! We absolutely can't believe this is on the PSP, and it clearly features all the stealth elements we've always loved in the series. Snake can do just about anything as he always could, and PSP fans ought to be more than psyched; they ought to be literally drooling. Leave it to Kojima and Co. to produce a game that looks this technically accomplished on a handheld device. The final words of the trailer: "they believed they were creating a paradise."
HA! There's the cardboard box! Ah, Kojima has a sense of humor. Peace Walker has a tentative 2010 release date, and you can be sure we'll be bringing you all the new info as it becomes available.

Looking at the trailer and seeing this image

That is the same 5 off the teaser site from before - so doesn't that give some considerable sway to the argument that Peace Walker is the next MGS and that Rising is a real spinoff?

But anyway, so is the MGS game exclusive to the 360??? I'm almost sure it isn't but after it being a no show at Sony's conference I'm not sure anymore.

I'll still get it no doubt, but i hope they dont make all the obvjectives A to B like on P.O, i dont really play that game at all come to mention it, i only got it for the story.. and some parts were absurd (Ursila mainly). but we'll see i guess.
Interesting also hwo it said the missing like. It made it sound very final.. could this be the last in the series... surely not.
