Tales Of Vesperia PS3 Gets Horde Of Exclusive Content
Role-playing fans had to wait a year for Eternal Sonata to make its way from the Xbox 360 to the PlayStation 3, and we certainly have to wait again for Tales of Vesperia. But in both cases, the wait is most definitely worth it.
The PS3 version of this solid RPG will feature some exclusive never-before-seen-content, and according to a recent Famitsu article (as found by ScrawlFX), this includes a new playable character, more opportunities to step into the shoes of Flynn, more Artes and skills, and a redone set of voice-overs. Recently, more info has been added: we've got a new Giganto monster, a new dungeon called "Inner Sanctum of the Ester," and oh yes, connectivity news concerning the upcoming Tales of Vs. for the PSP. As it turns out, the latter will be "connectible" with Tales of Vesperia; it will unlock fresh challenges, skits and costumes, so there's plenty of incentive to own both games. Vesperia should release some time later this year for the PS3 and we don't yet have an estimated release date for Tales of Vs., but we're hoping for some information on that soon. RPG fans can finally look forward to a number of great titles that should launch within the next year, and that also features the likes of Resonance of Fate, Last Rebellion, and Final Fantasy XIV.
And that whole connectivity thing certainly promotes ownership of both the PS3 and PSP (or PSP Go when it becomes available). You can probably expect more of this in the future...
