Shadow Of Destiny PSP Confirmed For North America
Remember when we told you that one of our favorite PS2 games, Shadow of Destiny, was getting the PSP treatment? Remember how we said we hoped Konami would bring it to North America? ...know how satisfied we are to find out they are?
According to Siliconera, it has been confirmed that the PSP port of Shadow of Destiny is indeed coming to North America. We've explained a bit about the game's premise before, but as a brief reminder of the concept, here's a snippet from the ESRB:
"This is an adventure game in which players assume the role of Eike, a man who is “destined to die” and who must travel through time to alter his fate. Players can explore the fictional German town of Lebensbaum, solve puzzles, and interact with different characters to uncover the cause of the central character’s demise. Eike’s death is depicted in a variety of ways: he is stabbed, pushed off a roof, poisoned, and shot."
Although we know it'll release in Japan on October 1, we don't yet have a US date, but you can be sure we'll be on the lookout for that. This was one of the first great PS2 games available and although it likely only catered to a niche market, we're positive that anyone who desires something fresh and unique will enjoy it immensely. You have our word on that!
