Sony To Reveal Unannounced Title?

Sony's GamesCom press conference is tomorrow, and we're all expecting a few big bombs; i.e., a price drop, the official announcement of the PS3 Slim, possible PS2 backwards compatibility for the PS3, etc. But don't forget; they're bringin' some awesome software to the party, too.

It probably won't surprise you to learn that hot exclusive titles like God of War III, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, MAG, Gran Turismo PSP and ModNation Racers will be in attendance, but there may be one new exclusive that Sony has in store... An eagle-eyed NeoGAF forum member found something interesting at the European branch of Eurogamer: as you can see, there are software listings for the major publishers, and you'll recognize all the names under Sony's name...except for one. It's a game called Dead Nations and although we're searching our memory banks, we can't remember any such title. Is it a new PlayStation 3 or PSP exclusive? Is it a multiplatform game that somehow escaped attention? Who's making it? Might it be another exclusive for the PSN? We have a lot of questions, of course, but we assume none will be answered until tomorrow. You guys can speculate all you want but with only a name, it's tough to come up with any significant leads.

Well, anyway, it's just something else we'll have to keep a close eye on in the coming hours. Tuesday could be a very, very big day for the PlayStation brand.
