Half-Minute Hero is one of those titles that makes you go, "...wait, what?"

But that should be common ground for PSP owners, as Sony's handheld has been home to some of the most original creations of the generation. Half-Minute Hero will tax you with saving the world by completing a series of quests, all of which will have a 30-second time limit. Sound impossible? Nah, it sounds fun, and according to Siliconera, you'll be able to give it a shot some time next month. Basically, this is an old-school, ultra-pixelated RPG where you run about, leveling up and gathering money, all in the hopes of saving the Princess. You can't piss off the Goddess of Time, though, and she's a crazy strict taskmistress. With four modes and a surprising number of variations on that fairly straightforward 30-second rule, this should provide plenty of entertainment. If you're not convinced, there should be a demo on the PlayStation Store right now, and XSeed even plans to release another one before the final product arrives. These days, you don't gotta buy anything without testing it first.

You might be surprised at what you find in that demo. There are a lot of people who have gone in suspicious and have come out with smiles on their faces.  Won't know until you play!
