Sega Classics On PSN, Set To Entice New PSP Go Owners
If you haven't checked out the Store since its update yesterday and you're a die-hard Sega fan, you're totally missing out. All aboard the nostalgia train!
As revealed at the PlayStation Blog, Sega community manager Julian Mehlfeld has listed the new PSP Go offerings on the PSN: we've got Alien Syndrome, Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars (everyone remember how we all loved Crazy Taxi on the Dreamcast?), Crush, Full Auto: Battlelines (if you're a Twisted Metal fan, you should definitely check it out), the awesome Sega Genesis Collection (formerly released on the PS2), Iron Man, Sonic Rivals and Sonic Rivals 2, and lastly, Super Monkey Ball Adventure (hearken back to the GameCube). Sega is definitely handing out the old-school gems to new PSP Go owners and of course, you can always give 'em a try on the PSP-3000, too. Many have questioned the $250 price tag for Sony's new handheld, but with all this content - and the rumors that it may fall to $199 this holiday season - you may want to seriously consider a purchase. Or, if you're already a PSP owner, you might want to think about an upgrade, even though we don't yet have a conversion program for switching your UMD libraries over to digital format. That's coming soon.
So anyway, if you loved the old Sega Genesis - and who didn't? - these are all games you're familiar with, and you'll likely want to revisit them...unless, for some weird reason, you've still got the cartridges somewhere.

I created a new user and tried to make it in a USA version but I couldnt sign up. I could look around the Store but I couldnt download anything (which sucks so bad). You even get Spyro 2 which I miss. Why can't the UK get the same treatment as USA?
On the plus side......wow about the SEGA games

Alright - women and children. The very people spending money on the Wii and DS. Sony wants to hook in some of the iPhone/iPod/iTouch generation, and the PSP Go is it's effort to do that. Not only may it be more comfortable in the smaller hands of people in other countries, but also in the smaller hands of women and kids.
Sony would love to capture a decent amount of the female gamer market, and a pocket sized music/video player that also does games could be just the ticket.

there trying to compete with the DSI than price it at 450 AUD.
thats logic for ya.
its like saying to someone i really want you to buy this, so they go to buy it than you tell them sorry its not available to you.
they killed any sales when they announced the price.
it does less than the 1000 it has a smaller screen and its 150 AUD more

If you're going to be calling people idiots the least you could do is form complete sentences. Your grammar is atrocious; I normally wouldn't point it out but come on.
Anything the PSPGo does over my 1000 is nothing that warrants $250. I have the hands of a man and I enjoy my bigger screen.

I never claimed you were addressing me, did I? Correct I do understand the vague point you seem to be trying to express. However I didn't respect it or value it in any way thanks to your limited vocabulary. Maybe you should put more emphasis on getting people to value your words, not simply to understand them.
My argument was in regards to why anyone that owns a PSP would make the switch to the PSPGo, I've already made my point in other posts; I suggest you read them.
I've yet to see anyone say the PSPGo and any bundles are worthless. You must be having delusions.
Congratulations on not getting cramps from using the PSPGo, you must be an anomaly in contrast to the dozens of reviews and current PSP users' comments about the system being too small for most people's hands.
Keep hiding behind the "It's my opinion" defense with nothing valid to add to the conversation.

and is that feature worth 150 bucks?
did not think so.
your the idiot.
PSP IS FOR PLAYING GAMES and 99% of people wont have a large enough download limit or fast enough net to download half the games they want.
what would you rather, spend 20 minutes driving to the store and back and grab a game.
or spend 3 hours downloading it?
the answers quite obvious to me.
also im worried how the sliding screen will age, ive had quite a few sliding phones and after a years of use or so it either goes loose and wont stay open or goes stiff and is awkward to close.
but heh its your money if you want to flush it down the loo thats fine by me.

I thought that was dropped completely. Sony announced they're no longer looking into that possibility.
