ModNation Racers Confirmed For PSP
ModNation RacersIt took a while for Sony to announce that LittleBigPlanet was PSP-bound, but they're getting that announcement in ahead of time for ModNation Racers.
The ambitious, innovative little kart racer that builds on the "Play, Create, Share" concept initiated by LBP will definitely be available on Sony's portable as well as the PlayStation 3. As revealed at the PlayStation Blog, ModNation Racers will launch for both the PS3 and PSP on the very same day. That release date is still "TBA" for all regions but we're very interested to see the progression of this one, where you can create everything from your own racer to an entirely new track. It will also boast online multiplayer modes and the PSP version won't be watered down; it will include all the features that will be on display in the PS3 version. You can also expect some connectivity between the two versions; it's almost inevitable at this point. This may actually coincide with the rumored PSP Go relaunch and although that's nothing more than speculation at this point, wouldn't it be nice to have a game like this for that new attempt?
ModNation Racers should appeal to everyone who have played and enjoyed LBP, just because it's all about player choice and customization. The game really is what you make of it!
