SCEA Reveals "Big Boss" PSP Pack For Peace Walker
Some might believe that because it'll only be available on the PSP, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker would be lacking in anticipation and popularity.
And yet, the game continues to dominate headlines. The latest is a much-appreciated announcement from Sony Computer Entertainment America: they have announced the exclusive limited edition "Big Boss" Pack in honor of the impending Peace Walker launch. Available at GameStop locations in the US on June 8 - the day of the game's release - this appealing bundle will sell for $199.99 and come with premium content that the fans will adore. The "Camouflage" PSP-3000 system, inspired by the Central American setting for the game, will be a big highlight; all told, the "Big Boss" package will offer:
- “Camouflage” PSP-3000 system
- METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER game on UMD®
- Voucher for in-game content unlockable early on in the game
- PlayStation®Network downloadable movie voucher – title to be announced (UMD will be available for Canadian residents)
- 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo™
- Premium carrying case
So for all you hardcore MGS fans, this pack ought to be high on your priority list. Added Bob McKenzie, senior vice president of merchandising for GameStop:
"With a vast lineup of chart-topping, AAA titles, PlayStation and Konami have long been synonymous with compelling gameplay experiences. As the leading video game and entertainment software retailer, we saw this as a huge opportunity to offer ultimate Metal Gear Solid fans something truly unique. When coupled with exclusive content like the 'Camouflage' PSP-3000 system and carrying case, the 'Big Boss' Pack is sure to give gaming enthusiasts something to look forward to this summer."

I upgraded to a PSP Go in anticipation of this game. It would've been great if they made this bundle a custom PSP Go with ALL of the PSP Metal Gear games (even the Acid ones...) installed on the system from the get go.
Why not sell that for $250 and watch the sales come pouring in?

I happened to find MSG:Portable Ops (original cover and manual) in the store while looking around and bought it for $25. Then while checking out the PSN updates last night, remembered the Ops/Ops+/Digital Comic bundle for $30. Need to decide whether I really want a UMD or take up space on mem stick. Any opinions on Ops+ or the Digital Comic?
