Hot Shots Tennis: Get A Grip Swings Onto PSP June 29
Hot Shots TennisI'm a big fan of the Hot Shots series and I'm a tennis player, so...maybe I'm more excited about this news than the ordinary person.
Clap Hanz didn't exactly strike an ace with 2007's Hot Shots Tennis for the PS2 (it was just too bare-bones; I remember), but they're giving it another shot with Hot Shots Tennis: Get a Grip for the PSP. As reported by GameSpot, the game has received an official launch date of June 29. It's not exactly a huge shock to see that it features the same cutesy artistic style we've always had in the Hot Shots titles, although while the golf games were always very realistic, this tennis iteration probably won't be anything like Top Spin. And for fans, customization will be a definite staple in Get a Grip; there will be quite literally "hundreds of clothing and accessory options" to unlock. As a peek at one of the secret characters, they revealed the tennis-playing Helghast soldier from Killzone 2. ...yeah, it's a little screwy, but still funny. If you're a portable fan, this is one game that ought to be pretty darn entertaining while on the go.
Now, how's about the new Hot Shots Golf? Can we have one, please? It's the only golf game I'll play, damnit.

I know that Mod Nation Racers is about to stand astride the cart racing world, but it's a pity that there isn't a 'Hot Shots Cart Racing' game.
