Japanese PSP Bundles: Dissidia 012, "For Girls," More

Pink is for girls. ...oh, don't give me that sexist nonsense; Sony says pink is "for girls."

Japan always gets cool hardware bundles that never see the light of day in other regions, and here are more examples of that frustrating fact: as noted by Joystiq, Sony has announced release dates and details for three new PSP-3000 packages, exclusive to Japan. One of the coolest is the Dissidia 012 Chaos & Cosmos pack, which features a specially designed Pearl White PSP; check it out through the link. This will be available on March 3 and come bundled with Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy for the price of 22,890 ($275). Then there's the Monster Hunter Portable 3rd bundle - you had to guess this were coming - called the New Hunters Pack, which gives you the option of black/red or white/blue, and includes the super popular title in question. This will be available in just a few days - February 10 - and cost 19,800 ($238).

Lastly, the PSP Value Pack For Girls. It doesn't have a game...it's just pink. And it' for girls. It even sports a carrying case with a little bow on it, a pink cleaning cloth, and pink earbuds. This can be purchased on February 17 for 19,800. You know, if you're a girl and you live in Japan.

It's too bad Monster Hunter 3rd doesn't come with the pink one. It would be great to have a good game to go along with those girls.

The bundles seem cool (except for the girls one), I like the Dissidia 012 PSP's design, but Piano Black PSP all the way. Now if only there was a way I can avoid fingerprint smudges on it...

Aww, they get all the good bundles. Although, I really don't understand the appeal of Monster Hunter. I tried it and just... not my type of game.

And this is off-topic, but I think we may have gotten another PS3 convert today. Fingers crossed that she follows our advice.
Peace.

Say what? It always was 012, or Duodecim.

It's a pity these bundles are only being released in Japan. It's an even further pity that if you want to import them you have to pay a sizable markup....
