The 3rd Birthday Twisted Edition Spotted At Retailers

Aya will be returning very soon, and it seems you might have two options for The 3rd Birthday.

It appears that some major UK retailers have listed a special edition for the hotly anticipated handheld title; it's dubbed the "Twisted Edition." According to RPG Site, this was actually revealed by Square-Enix in a press release, but they didn't provide any details at the time. The release also mentioned special editions for Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together and Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy, saying they'd release more info at a later date. It's also interesting to see Play.com give The 3rd Birthday a March 25 launch date for the UK region, so maybe that's when both the regular and Twisted Edition will be available for purchase. We've yet to see much in the way of details for North America, but that tends to be Square-Enix's MO. For the most part, we are interested in the new Parasite Eve, although we ardently wished it had been a PlayStation 3 exclusive...

At any rate, two editions for the fans is probably a good idea. We're just wondering what you get in that Twisted Edition...

I really hope SE really reborns in the NGP, I really liked Squaresoft rpg's. I'm sure it was because of Sakaguchi-san. I can only dream of Mistwalker realeasing an rpg on a Sony system.

I wonder what they're adding to Tactics Ogre to make it a special edition... I'll have to keep my eye on that one.
