A Look Inside the PSP Box
After a painful week of waiting, the digital stork has delivered a bouncing bundle of joy - the official PSP of PSX Extreme. It only took 48 hours to get from Tokyo to Virginia Beach, Virginia, but I was out of town until today, which accounts for the painful part of the wait.

The shipping box is kinda cool. |
I've done little more than turn on the system and set the menus to English, but I did snap a few pictures of the box, what comes in it, and one of the unit itself.

The PSP box and two games. |
Let's start with the box, shall we? It's a little bigger than I imagined it would be, and while it's not as sexy as the PS2 box, it's still nice looking. The box is labeled "value pack" but I think that's just to make me feel like I got a good deal on the system, as there's not really much in the way of cool extras inside. Here's a list of the contents:
- PSP
- Wired remote control (feels really cheap)
- Battery
- 32 Mb Memory Stick (It's tiny, and easy to lose)
- Strap (ohh, exciting!)
- Soft case (It's not fancy, but it's a must)
- Power cable

And the system... |
We'll be updating all weekend with tons of pictures, impressions of Ridge Racers and Hot Shots Golf, and answering any questions you have about the system. If you'd like to ask a question about the system, post it here in our forums, or send an email and I'll try to answer your question in my Sunday update.
