Sony To Deliver "PSP Remaster" Titles To The PlayStation 3
Okay, so which PSP titles do you want to see remastered in high definition on your PlayStation 3?
Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) has announced the new "PSP Remaster" title series, which consists of portable games "customized and developed specifically for the PS3 computer entertainment system."
Such overhauled experiences will be available on Blu-Ray disc; Sony will start this process in Japan and we're hoping it will eventually come to Western markets. These select PSP Remaster games won't only boast stunning new high-definition visuals; they'll also include new features, such as motion sensing and stereoscopic 3D. And yes, we'll be able to use save data from the original PSP game when playing the Remastered version on the PS3.
The first game on tap is Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, which makes perfect sense for Japan. This game shipped over 4.5 million units in the Land of the Rising Sun alone. In the future, "SCE will continue to further expand the PS3 platform and create a new world of computer entertainment with innovative and exciting new titles." Yeah...we really wanna see God of War: Ghost of Sparta on the PS3.
