Silent Hill: Book Of Memories Early Footage, Story Details
Okay, so some of the horror fans don't like this new "multiplayer-oriented, top-down" direction found in Silent Hill: Book of Memories.
But give it a chance. It could really become one of the best titles for the new PlayStation Vita, and besides, we never really got the opportunity to see any footage. That early footage is now here, courtesy of Konami producer Tomm Hulett and this GamesCom 2011 presentation. Hulett first talks about the basic plot: you receive a weird book that shows you the story of your life, and then you rewrite your memories to alter reality.
Then he reminds us that we can create our character from scratch, and even drops in a Pyramid Head hint. Might the memorable foe from Silent Hill 2 make a guest appearance in Book of Memories? For those who are unfamiliar, the name "Pyramid Head" doesn't exactly cause paralyzing fear, but for those who remember that freak...anybody get nightmares?

He has no idea what the hell Silent Hill was all about.
I'm just in shock.
I just can't believe how bad a case this (this meaning everything that happened post Team Silent) is of snatching an artistic property and butchering, dumbing-down and embarrassing it i have ever seen.
Not only do they butcher "future installments", but they've actually gone back and got the original pictures.....and altered them to THEIR liking!
A sad, sad age we live in.
His smug "don't worry guys, i know what we're doing" face he makes as if he knows what veterans who understand what Team Silent were doing want, makes me want to belittle his pea sized brain further.
Twat in video: "Hey guys.....hey.....guys *sniggers* let's put that Pyramid guy from Resi 2 in it!"
Man with Brain: "...Pyramid Head? ...and he's from Silent Hill 2....also, he was a part of James's character and Pyramid Head's (or Red Pyramid) huge knife was manifested by James's suicidal thoughts after he was given the kitchen knife from a suicidal Angela....it's an artistic statement."
Twat in video: "Pfffttt! Nah, nah, nah! It's a monster in Silent Hill Homecoming! He's so cool (and makes us money)!"
Man with Brain: "........."

It's just another lame experiment for Vita, made because these top down affairs can be tossed together in a weekend and sold on the SH name to get sales because the thing needs launch titles. As much as that blows, it will fail and then we can get back to the real business of Silent Hill.

This is not Silent Hill, this is just a game stealing all the of creativity of Silent Hill which they do not deserve to touch and plastering it in an all new game which has no plausible relation to Silent Hill... It's like one of them horrible fan films which steal from franchises imagery and content try gain popularity by it, it's just cheap.
