Final Fantasy Type-0 Collectors Pack Makes Us Jealous
Time to make all the RPG fans outside of Japan jealous. Again.
What you see here - and you can find more drool-worthy screenshots at Andriasang - is the beautiful Final Fantasy Type-0 Collectors Edition. It's a full fanservice package sold exclusively through the Square Enix e-Store; it costs ¥12,760 and features a 24-card postcard book with an 8-page character introduction, the first print version of the game's 3-disc soundtrack CD, and a special collectible box. If you don't want to spring for this bundle, you can still pick up the postcard set and soundtrack separately.
We'll be interested to see how the game turns out, and we hold no illusions concerning the localization of this Collectors set. That just won't happen. But maybe we'll get a special package of a different kind...

First it was about pumping remake after remake, now it's going to be sequel after sequel.
How about they TRY AND WORK AND FIRST COMPLETE A REAL GAME ANNOUNCED WAY BACK. DOES the guy even remember it?! Something called Final Fantasy Versus XIII?!
If...FFXIII-3 is real...and it does come out before VERSUS. I've completely given up on Square Enix...for good.

yes, japan does get the cool stuff. i've always loved everything about their culture(especially all the cute japanese school girls dressed in skirts)...j/k kind of :). i always thought it was cool how they treated their game designers like rock stars.
i also heard they are getting boxed release for the re remakes, but sadly na does not.
@riku
ff13-3 huh? i could see square doing that if ff13-2 is considered a success. they need the cash infusion.

The general vib does not feel like a FF game, the controls are so fussy, which is strange becuase the absolutley nailed it already with Crisis Core...

What about FFT?
I'd love to hear you explain yourself. FFXII wasn't my favorite FF, but it was still excellent gameplay with sufficient depth for me to be satisfied with it being an FF.
I'm not sure how you can pretend FFXIII had more FF elements than FFXII...
