TGS: 3D Viewer for PSP Unveiled

Konami is showing off a 3D viewing peripheral at TGS that makes games and movies (designed specifically for this system) more realistic by producing full-color, 3D visuals by placing the viewer lens on the PSP. The system, entitled "Sol!d Eye TobidAc!d" (tentative product name) will make its debut on December 8th in Japan. It will be packaged along with Metal Gear Ac!d 2. Players can also change between 3D and normal view anytime, even while playing.

Metal Gear Ac!d 2 with "Sol!d Eye TobidAc!d" (tentative product name) will be sold for 5,229 yen. No information on a US release has been given, but if it's coming out for the game in Japan, it makes sense that we will see it here when the game finally comes out.

No official pictures have been released yet, but from what I've seen, it looks like one of those old viewmaster toys, and it sits on top of the PSP. We'll have some images for you as soon as some official ones become available.
