PSP News: EA Slashes Prices

EA Slashes Prices

The company that challenges everything today announced that it's challenging its own suggested retail prices.

Electronic Arts has cut the price on a number of recently-released game titles. SSX On Tour, which went on sale last month, is now $29.99--a $10 drop. Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects, originally priced at $49.99, is now $29.99 (GameCube, PS2, Xbox).

Also receiving $10 price cuts were NASCAR 06: Total Team Control, NBA Live 06, and the mega-selling Burnout Revenge.

The lone PSP game to receive the discount treatment is Need for Speed Underground: Rivals, which is now priced at $29.99.

Price cuts like these aren't uncommon at this time of year. We expect more companies to follow suit in the aftermath of the Xbox 360 launch and the run-up to the Christmas holiday.
