PSP News: Activision Extends Spider-Man Deal

Activision Extends Spider-Man Deal

So it looks like we're getting ten more years of Spider-Man movies and games. Take that news however you'd like. Activision, Marvel, and Sony Pictures have come to an agreement to extend Activion's publishing rights to the Spider-Man motion pictures franchise through 2017. The license grants Activision the right to publish entertainment software products based on subsequent Spider-Man movie sequels or new television series.

Under its current agreement Activision is devloping a game based on the feature film Spider-Man 3, which is set for release in May 2007.
