Tekken: Dark Resurrection Goes Gold

Tired of teasing us with screenshots and great looking movies, NamcoBandai has sent word that Tekken: Dark Resurrection has gone gold. The PSP-exclusive will be on store shelves nationwide on Tuesday, July 25, 2006.

“We wanted to offer something original with this new incarnation of the popular franchise with action packed portable play and new online play and game sharing modes,” Yoshi Niki, of NamcoBandai. “Tekken: Dark Resurrection takes full advantage of the amazing wireless connectivity of the PSP system, and allows gamers to experience the fighting excitement anytime and anywhere they choose.”

This latest installment in the Tekken series introduces two brand new characters, Lili and Dragunov, as well as a slew of returning characters such as the Armor King and fan-favorites Jin, Heihachi and Yoshimitsu.

We'll have a review of the game shortly after it is released, so be sure to check back later this month.
