PSP Getting EA Collection

Although not officially announced yet, GameStop and EB Games have spilled the beans on Electronic Arts' upcoming multi-game compilation for the PSP. Called EA Replay, the disc will contain 14 standalone games spanning the company's rich history.

Games to be included are:

B.O.B.
Budokan
Desert Strike
Jungle Strike
Haunting Starring Polterguy
Mutant League Football
Road Rash
Road Rash II
Road Rash III
Syndicate
Ultima: The Black Gate
Virtual Pinball
Wing Commander
Wing Commander: Secret Missions

Each game will feature a "save anywhere" function, as well as widescreen and original display ratios. Games that originally supported 2-player simultaneous play will do so across two PSP's thanks to the system's WiFi mode.

No word yet on whether the Wing Commander and Ultima games will be the original PC versions or the less-awesome-but-still-neat Super NES versions.

EA Replay will ship in October for a suggested retail of US$29.99.

I don't like it, but it might work out.
I'm on the fence.
