PSP News: Sony Releases Updated PSP Media Manager

Sony Releases Updated PSP Media Manager

Today, Sony released an updated version of its Media Manager for the PSP, and PC/PSP users everywhere can finally rejoice.

The Media Manager is a software application that allows users to transfer media and other files between a PC and the PSP, thus greatly expanding the appeal and capabilities of the little handheld. One of the Manager's cooler features is the ability to transfer home videos from DVD to PSP, as well as transport documents and browser bookmarks between the two systems. Sony took it a step further by redesigning the interface and expanding the options for converting video, music, and photos. You can even subscribe to podcasts and back up game saves, if you wish.

The revamped Media Manager is available to PSP owners as a download for $16.99, or as a boxed product in retail stores (with USB cable) for $24.99.
