PSP Version 3.03 Firmware Update Available
Another firmware update is available for the PSP, and this one is going to include minor security stuff, and an update to enhance the downloadable features from the PlayStation Store on the PS3 PlayStation Network. However, we still don't have the ability to download PS games directly to the PSP, so you still need the PS3 to make things work.
Firmware update 3.03 features-
- Revisions to strengthen security have been added.
- The number of PlayStation Network titles that can be played under [Game] has increased.
That's all very well and good, but PSP owners are still waiting on that much-anticipated major update Sony's been promising for some time. One of the biggest is the aforementioned PSP connectivity feature that really needs a way to tap into the Store directly. But in the meantime, it's time to get downloading. Visit whichever of the following official PlayStation sites applies to you, and reap the benefits of v3.03.
