UK publication The Independent has recently put together a
list of the 20 best selling videogame franchises. Some outlets
were quick to pick up this story...but alas, this isn't a list
put together by the UK pub. This is actually an entry compiled
and found on Wikipedia. This chart is one of many put together on
the Wiki entry titled "List of best-selling computer and
video games." The chart is actually pretty detailed as it
breaks down million-sellers by console, platform, franchise, and
