Media-Create Japan Hardware Sales: Feb. 12-18
While the software charts last week certainly saw a boom in volume, as opposed to the previous week, last week's hardware sales actually went down. The Nintendo DS saw a sharp decline of sales, taking in 137k last week (down from 201k). The Nintendo Wii fell nearly 15k units, but still selling a respectable 64k consoles. Likewise, without any killer-app software, the PS3 continues to perform below expectations with only 20k consoles sold. On the other hand, the PSP actually sold over 2k units more last week - racking up 34.5k systems sold. Look below for the detailed chart.February 12th-18th
