PSP News: GameStop/EB Preparing PSP Price Drop

GameStop/EB Preparing PSP Price Drop

It's good timing, that's for sure. After a slew of top-quality titles in 2006 and several more on the way this year, the PSP is starting to look more and more attractive to consumers. So perhaps you've been wanting to pick one up but the price has been too high...well, stop over at GameStop or EB and enjoy the PSP Core Pack for $169.99 rather than $199.99.

The retailer apparently already has the promotional material for the sale according to Joystiq, so we assume you'll see this price drop within the next day or so. If you haven't had the opportunity to pick up Sony's sleek handheld, perhaps now is the time. And just think about it; if you have the PS3, you can take advantage of that cool PS3/PSP connectivity they've recently upgraded. Come on, it's win-win!
