PSP Rhythm 7.1 Now Available

If you haven't heard of PSP Rhythm, lend an ear. It's a complete music workstation for Sony's portable, and it includes sample playback, sample manipulation, audio effects, wave synthesizers, a grid sequencer, and a song arranger. And when you've got your audio sample, you can arrange and effect it, and finally record your song to CD-quality audio files. It's like your own personal music studio in the palm of your hand, which, along with the recent price drop for the Core Pack, makes the PSP that much more appealing.

The latest version of PSP Rhythm, 7.1, includes the following list of improvements:

  • Pattern Sample Playback (Loop)
  • Export Song by Audio Track
  • Improved Graphics
  • Improved Audio Engine
  • Improved Rendering to Wave File
  • Bug fixes

It's one of the more intriguing ideas for any current console, and the fact that it's on a portable machine is another big bonus. PSP Rhythm is the perfect option for avid music fans, and it will certainly be a major selling point for the system for quite some time.
