Irem Preparing "Sci-Fi Strategy" PSP Game

If you enjoyed unique titles like Disaster Report and Steamboat Chronicles for the PS2, then you should probably pay attention...and we hope you have a PSP. The developer responsible for those two games, Irem, is apparently moving forward with a project for Sony's portable.

According to a recent interview with Japan's Gpara.com, Irem member Kazuma Kujou revealed that his team was working on a new "sci-fi strategy" game for the PSP. Unfortunately, he offered no details or information on the title, although we assume we can expect a little of each in the coming weeks. But in addition to this one, Kujou mentioned he's also working on new titles in the R-Type and Metal Slug franchises, so if you're not familiar with Irem, you should be. They've got some truly addictive games under their belt.

Getting Twisted Metal on Valentine's Day?
Yep, I can't wait!
I'll get it, but not until later.
I'll have to wait for the reviews.
This just isn't my cup of tea.
