PSP News: Portable Ops Expansion Revealed - PSP News

Portable Ops Expansion Revealed

The PlayStation Premier event in Tokyo, being held today, has provided us with another little nugget of good news: a new version of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops for the PSP is in the works. Essentially, it's an expansion to last year's critically acclaimed stealth/action game, and this new one will simply add a "+" at the end of the title.

Konami has switched gears a bit to focus on online play, but it will also feature new stages and new characters. They also revealed another new single-player mode called "Infinity Mission," but they didn't get into specifics. However, we are aware of the pricing: Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops+ will retail for 2,400 yen, and you can also get it bundled with the original Portable Ops for 4,300 yen.

The game should be available in Japan the same day as the new PSP: September 20.

Getting Twisted Metal on Valentine's Day?
Yep, I can't wait!
I'll get it, but not until later.
I'll have to wait for the reviews.
This just isn't my cup of tea.
