If you're still not convinced of a Resistance: Retribution purchase, here's a great, extended look at the gameplay. As most of you should already know, this is not a FPS - that genre simply doesn't fare well on handhelds - and instead, Sony Bend decided to go with a third-person shooter mechanic. This is similar to the likes of Gears of War or Uncharted, where cover is paramount and strategy is a little more important. This was probably a good decision, and now, we absolutely can't wait to give it a go. For 2009, there are plenty of promising PSP titles out there, but Retribution certainly sits at or near the top of the list.
