The Sims is like this colossal machine that shows no sign of slowing down, and because of this, it's crossing all kinds of boundaries. Heck, these titles even made their way over to handhelds, and here is The Sims 2: Castaway, which puts you on a desert island surrounded by...well, nothing. At first. It's your job to initially survive and, eventually, build a miniature tropical paradise all your own. In this way, it's both similar and different to any other title in the long-running franchise; since when is survival a problem in The Sims? Well, we like it when developers shake things up a bit.
