  Resistance: Fall of Man was easily the best launch title for the PlayStation 3 back in 2006, and the sequel is one of the most hotly anticipated releases of 2008. However, let's not forget about the franchise's glorious debut on the PSP; Resistance: Retribution is scheduled to arrive some time early next year, and we can't wait to give it a go. As you can see in this gameplay video, it's not a first-person shooter like its console counterparts. Instead, the developers have opted to use a third-person, over-the-shoulder mechanic that lends a new style to the Resistance name. This isn't a bad move, either; past FPSs on the PSP haven't fared well due to the control snafu, but this idea ought to work wonderfully. Stay tuned for more in the very near future.
