Do
you have your diaper on, we suggest you do when you
look at these first Metal Gear Solid 2 screenshots.
We have gotten eight screen shots of MGS 2, all of
these are from the beautiful movie that Konami
showed us all. I love this world. The video starts
out with a slight tribute to MGS (PS1), and then
shows Snake in his all new world. A videogame has
never looked so good before, check out these screens
while I go change my Huggies (thanks a lot Konami).

Konami has revealed more about MGS 2. This time it
is the game's official title, Metal Gear Solid 2:
Sons of Liberty. In addition, the setting will take
place in New York City. This may be a short update
on the game, but I'll take all the updates that I
can get on MGS2.

There is no doubt about the fact that Metal Gear
Solid was by far one of the greatest videogames ever
created. The series made it's debut on the NES with
two titles, the series took 10 years off and then
suddenly was announced for the PS. The industry was
shocked and amazed at the same time. Konami claimed
that the game will push the PSX to its limits and
they definitely kept their promise, in terms of
voice acting the game was perfect, it was like
playing a videogame/movie and one awesome treat. The
game was later followed by Metal Gear: VR Missions,
though it wasn't a sequel, it packed the same
graphics and feel but instead of sneaking around
detailed areas, you walk around training missions
which was actually pretty cool. Before the PS2 was
released Konami announced that they will follow MGS
with a true sequel un-officially titled Metal Gear
Solid 2. Knowing the power of the PS2, MGS 2 can
turn out to be one of the PS2's biggest shining
moments.
Knowing the PS2's graphical capabilities Metal Gear
Solid 2 can be one sweet game if Konami really takes
their time with the game like they did with the
first one. Konami is really tight lipped about the
sequel and they haven't even shown the game off
anywhere. I'm hoping that come Electronic
Entertainment Expo (E3) that Konami will shock us
all again by showing us the true sequel to MGS 2.
The gameplay will most likely remain the same, the
awesome stealth/action that made the first MGS so
great will repeat itself on the PS2. There isn't
much more to speak about, this is all the info we
know so far and as soon as Konami spills the juice
we will have full coverage on MGS2. Stay tuned
'cause you really won't want to miss the screens
that Konami has in store for us in the future.
