Yesterday we reported that an Asian company already
had an operational mod chip developed. But who?
After picking up on the news yesterday, we sniffed
through the whole net and found Playstation 2 mod
chips, in stock, and on sale at Liik-Sang.
These are 8-pin chips, and they sell them for $25.
The current mod chips will only open the PS2 system
to "backup" or copied games that are
recorded in CD-Rom format. This mod chip does not
function to work with DVD based games.
