As Konami's tech guys are developing Metal Gear
Solid 2: Sons of Liberty for the Playstation 2, the
marketing and PR staff is hard at work getting the
hype that the game needs. To this point they have
been very successful at creating this hype that
every gaming company wants, and now they are going a
step further.
Konami announced that they will be releasing a MSG 2
DVD trailer that will showcase a lot about
SolidSnake's forthcoming game. The DVD will only be
sold in Japan, for 1,500 yen (about $13) and at Konami
Style website for Japanese residents. Some of
the things that the DVD will feature is:
- The
famous world premiere E3 footage of the game
- An "Experience Tour"
- MGS2 weapons and items
- Art and illustrations of Shinkawa Hiroshi
- Preview of MGS2
- Preview of Z.O.E.
Metal Gear Solid 2: The Trailer will be available
for sale on July 10th. If we get lucky, maybe we'll
find a way to get this DVD in the US and let you
know on the secret.
