By now you should have heard the Eidos buyout situation. Some of the rumors flying around the net are incredibly ridiculous, I mean Roy Rogers buying out Eidos, for what? I found Infogrames the most reasonable rumor out of all of the rumors, Infogrames is a UK based company so is Eidos that's why I think that possibly the only rumor true is the one on Infogrames. On the other hand Microsoft is doing some shopping and have recently bought out Bungie. They certainly have enough money to buy out Eidos single handedly, just like they did with Bungie.

     The latest rumor going around that Playboy is looking into buying Eidos. Apparently it seems as if Playboy wants exclusive rights to Lara Croft so they can do whatever they want with her image. I frankly don't care anymore, the next thing you know is that Eidos is being bought out by Hooters. I think that Infogrames has the best chance of getting Eidos, they have already nabbed Accolade and GT Interactive why not Eidos.
