Dragon Quest IV announced
Enix America Inc. announced today the introduction of Dragon Quest IV for the PSX. It will be exclusive to Sony’s original console, as it will follow the highly successful Dragon Quest III and anticipated release of Dragon Warrior VII.
“The overwhelming success of Dragon Warrior III not only reaffirms the popularity of the franchise, but also underscores our belief that a fantastic game-play experience is independent of the platform on which it is played,” said Paul Handelman, president of Enix America. “Each game in the Dragon Warrior series is a brilliant stand-alone product that feeds into a greater, more fully involved universe that is tantalizing players of all ages.”
What makes Dragon Warrior such an incredible franchise is the mass appeal to both hardcore and novice gamers. It is able to capture both the intense storyline and captivating humor to attract an audience of all tastes. Along with Dragon Warrior IV, Enix America will be releasing Dragon Warrior Monsters 2-Cobi’s Journey in September for the GameBoy Color and Dragon Warrior VII for the PSX in October.
