Steambot Chronicles Rides into Stores

"As cars became more and more common on city streets, the Trotmobile came into being. This two-legged, walking metal vehicle could be adapted to a variety of road conditions and purposes: agriculture, civil engineering, and transportation. The industrial revolution continued, increasing the Trotmobile’s popularity. People placed their hopes and dreams on the backs of these wonderful machines, marching toward a better life just beyond their reach..."

Atlus' unique blend of action-RPG and rhythm game (known as Bumpy Trot in Japan) is in stores this week. You play the role of Vanilla Beans, a Trotmobile rider and star musician, as he travels the world in search of adventure. Steambot Chronicles delivers a variety of options right from the start with open-ended, "sandbox" style gameplay. You can make money by playing with your band, go farming, compete in the arena, customize your ride, or take on a variety of missions. You can even join the side of evil if you please.
