Test Drive series earned its medals and stood up to the challengers like Need for Speed and Gran Turismo. With many franchises out there Test Drive is still one of the leaders and on the market. They have done almost everything in the world with cars and they are ready to shoot at the long abandoned motorcycle racing and Test Drive Cycles is the weapon .
Although there were previous motorcycle titles that performed relatively well, they were not able to match the power of Accolade who can deliver the best license deals. Expect to see Kawasaki, Victory Polaris, Moto Guzzi and more than 20 more. Accolade hinted that they are in talks for a very big license. Do I smell a Harley-Davidson cruising around? The beauty against the beast idea lives on in this two wheeled version of Test Drive 5.
Accolade designed a totally new engine for this sequel but many of the the features Test Drive 5 is known for will remain in place. With respect to the previous motorcycle racers, realistic physics is the core attribute of Test Drive Cycles. If you have any knowledge on real bikes, you should know that there are two separate brakes, one for the front wheel and one for the back wheel. Knowing how to use the brakes correctly is no easy task, but it certainly benefits you when you learn how to use them.
Handling is not the only feature that will be simulated in this title. Once again the courses will be the actual streets around the world, I am pretty sure you are not surprised since this series mastered the feature in previous Test Drive games. We should see over 20 of these real-world tracks around the world jammed into this title.
To wrap this up, I want to mention that we didn't have a chance to play the unfinished version of the game yet, but I will try to get this game as soon as possible, if possible. We have well over three months until the release of the title, but most of the information is already covered in this early preview.
