PlayStation 3 and 120 Frames Per Second?
Ken Kutaragi has always been known for making bold claims about the capabilities of Sony's consoles, and he shows no signs of slowing down. According to an article at GamesIndusty.biz, Kutaragi was recently boasted that the PlayStation 3 will be capable of running games at 120 Frames Per Second.
Nevermind the fact that most games in the current generation only run at 30fps, with some achieving the "magical" 60fps, but current displays aren't even capable of displaying such an impressive frame rate.
Mr. Kutaragi also boasted that the PS3 would be able to decode 10 HDTV channels at the same time, and that it would be able to cook waffles. Okay, he didn't say it would cook waffles, but he did mention some other impressive abilities, which you can read about in the article linked above.
