When a home conversion of the smash hit arcade game X-men vs SF was announced for PSX, there was alot of of scepticism going on. Well there was a damn good reason for all of it, first of all the PS version of X-men vs SF, was not going to have the tag-team feature, making it just a simple 2D fighter.

One of the games biggest flaws was it's horrible frame rate, when executting a double or single super combo the game just drops it's frame rate to around 15-18 fps. Despite the horrible frame rate, the games characters still look good and move nicely.

Since the game doesn't have the tag-team feature, the gameplay has to be lowered. Although the game is no where near as good as the arcade version, it's still not so bad. I personally found the game enjoyable and still good.

Well then there is the sound, not much to say there except, it's nearly the same as the arcade so there is no dissapointment in that category.

X-men vs SF is a 2D fighter so the controls are a breeze, there isn't much to master just the ability to pull of air-combos, and super combos. Once getting used to the controls X-men vs SF can be a blast to play.

The game features over 15 characters including 2 secret ones. All of the stages from the arcade version. A Training mode, Versus mode, Arcade mode and Survival mode. Many critics really don't like this game because it's missing one feature, but I personally think the game is very good.

Of course; they still think we're all 10
Probably, but maybe it won't be bad
Not so much; it's common these days
