Star Wars:Jedi Power Battles
When I was about to play it, I was thinking, "Well, it may of gotten a bad review on pretty much all the videogame magazines, but, I think I'll give it a shot anyways." But, when I started playing it, I was thinking, "This kinda sucks." But, I kept on playing it anyway. I don't now why either. But soon I tossed it.   GRAPHICS   The graphics were pretty bad. But visible enough to see there was a droids trying to kill you.   SOUND   The sound, was the only good thing about this game. It had all sorts of Star War music and sound effects to boot.(If you ask me, LucasArts better try to hire guys that know how to actually make an all around good game, not a game with just good sound.)   CONTROL   The control was average, but it could of been way better. There was a lock-on button, so you could target enemies, but it was so gimmicky, and since there was always more than one enemy, I found that it was hard to dispatch of them quickly and swiftly. The collision detection really sucked too. Whenever I had to jump an edge, I usually fell down and died. All and all, the control was gimmicky.   FUN FACTOR   This is a pretty bad game. Even Star Wars fanatics would have to be really diehard in order to stop them from throwing this in the garbage, and I'm a Star Wars fanatic!   CONCLUSION   This is a BAD GAME. Bad graphics, fairly good sound, bad control, and I as God as my witness, this is a mediocre, boring, and just plain BAD GAME. I can't stress that enough. If you are looking for a good Star Wars game, then get Star Wars:Rogue Squadron. Just stay away from Jedi Power Battles. |
