Final fantasy XIII User Review
(do not worry i will avoid spoilers).
Final fantasy XIII is a typical JRPG game , and like most JRPG the story is a friendship story that brings an amazing cast of characters together in an attempt to save the world , the story is basically that there are upper beings known as falcie that run Cacoon (your home town) , Cacoon citizens fears Pulse ( the underworld) , and one day a falcie from Pulse appears on Cacoon and it all starts , the rest is for you to figure out , but the story is Complicated in the begining and you are provided with a ton of information you have to break down , luckily there is an in game datalog that updates you through the story.
The gameplay is pretty linear and most of the times you are moving foreward like in an action adventure game , This is by no means bad in fact it is good , the game opens up towards the last third of the game , here it starts to get boring , though the environment is beatifull , the side missions are all dum and boring and repetitive. The combat system is menu based and later on will reguire some strategy as well as strenght , however to me it wasnt all that fun , also the monsters your up against look weird and boring.
The Graphics are the best part of the game , they are just amazing , soo amazing that after playing FF all other games will feel like Crap in terms of Graphics.
OFF course in game graphics and cutscenes are not as good as the few CG rendered custscenes that are scattered through the game.
next is the soundtrack , i just dont feel it , its not bad , but not by any means legendary.
So in the end the game is .
+ for the amaziing graphics and production value.
- for being repetitive and more or less boring at some point.
DO i recommend the game :
Yea its good to check up the game if your a long time Final fantasy fan , but if you were thinking to start trying out the Final fantasy series , you may want to skip the game , since i think it is not the best final fantasy game by any means.
