Homefront User Review
Graphics: I must admit that after playing K3 nothing looks pretty anymore, Homefront is no match for those graphics so dont get this game if you expect it to look pretty. I told people it reminds me to the Fallout series in the looks. There was at least two or three times the frame rate slow down a lot and it was very unpleasant, there is some of those pop-ups here and there.
Gameplay & Control: The game has some good hit detection but sometimes the grenades kills seem way over the top and if you throw it right you'll watch them fly into the air kind of funny, but this game is supposed to have a more serious vibe to it so it kind of brings you out of the experience. Walking and running seems very weird, especially when you're trying to run into cover. The hardest difficulty isn't nothing special kind of easy. Both enemy & friendly AI got some serious issues like standing in your way or not killing enemy 3 feet away from them, sometimes they react but thats rare, prepare to feel like you're doing all the work. I like how you have to be scavenging for weapons & explosives.
Sounds: Machine gun fire didn't sound at that real to me and the voice work was ok. soundtrack is ok but forgettable and it doesn't support in-game music (this should be standard by now)
Replay value: Multiplayer might take some days to complete but single story campaign is very short.
