Rockstar Games truly understands what it is like to captivate exactly what players may seem to want within a video game genre, with respect to setting, without having been fully exposed to an American West setting often in the video game industry. In Red Dead Redemption, the player is presented with an abundance of tasks to undertake to provide a virtual feel of what the American West was like without having to spend years developing a time machine and traveling back to the Old West in real life (if only that was really possible). Red Dead Redemption offers everything from placing hog-tied bandits on the railroad tracks and waiting for the train to come by and splatter them to pieces, to a good ol' game of horseshoe.

Red Dead Redemption delineates a virtually perfect American West ambiance with an enticing soundtrack that makes you want to grab your duster coat and ride on into the sunset. We can never actually appreciate the soundtrack without having proper scenery. In Red Dead Redemption, the overall setting is just jaw dropping. One can never really consider a video game to be a piece of "art", but this game is one of the few that can be considered within that category.

Rockstar Games not only presented us with an outstanding game, it also packed many exciting features that many games lack. The single player mode is amazing within itself due to the storyline, scenery, soundtrack, and endless fun when equipped with the face bandana. One thing that can be noted special for this game is the open world multiplayer experience. I'v never been much of an online gamer, but having the ability to roam around in the American Old West with fellow friends is something you cannot beat. I never thought I would see the day when I can just be roaming around with friends hoping strangers would not pass by killing our horses or killing us with a headshot for that matter. Red Dead Redemption is a game for those who desire to take a break from future galactic battles, modern day warfare, and everything in between.

Well written sir! I totally agree! The picture and scenery quality if off the charts. And that's truly amazing seeing as how the world is so vast and interactive! Tons of single player things to do as well as multiplayer free roam, co op, and vs. And to make it better they through in tons of dlc. Epic game and glad you appreciate it as much as I do. See ya in the ol' west saloon down in Black water!
