United Front Games, is a developer known for ModNation Racers and Little Big Planet Karting, surprisingly they present Sleeping Dogs.

Originally called True Crime Hong Kong, Activision cancelled it's publish and Square Enix decided to give it a shot. A very good move for them and the gamers

Wei Shen is a San Francisco's police offcier, sent to Hong Kong to help with an undercover mission in order to finish with the Sun On Yee triad. Wei will hace to fulfill his cop job and prove his loyalty to the triad.

The graphics are the weeker point in Sleeping Dogs, with pop ups and flat textures now and then, as in almost every opern world game, but certanly this doesn't affect the gameplay or the whole experience.

Hong Kong's design is very well done, aa big city with avenues and alleys, combining buildings from the ancient China and the 21st century. While travelling in the city we can find some of the gretest real life Hong Kong's attractiones as the Peak Victoria. The city is full with details like street vendors, markets, malls, people, cars and activity, making it feel alive.

Sleeping Dogs have some of the greatest voice acting, highlighting tha cting by Lucy Liu (Kill Bill, Charlie’s Angels), Emma Stone (Malcolm, Spider Man), Will Yun Lee (Die Another Day, Total Recall), Tom Wilkinson (Batman Begins, The Full Monty), Edison Chen (The Dark Knight, Internal Affairs), among others.

The soundtrack is quite broad and we can listen it while driving or even singing in the karaoke mini games. The sound effects make you feel inside Hong Kong and the combination of english and chinese helps to take you to the far east.

The gameplay is bases on 3 different aspects, fighting, shooting and driving.

Fighting in Sleeping Dogs resembles and feels a los like the Arkham games, being the counters specially useful, as the sorrounding hazards that make every fight feel diferent. There is a great enemy variety, that makes fighting strategy essencial.

Shooting is not as important as fist fighting, because weapons are not as common in Hong Kong as in other countries. But every gun fight is frantic with a good weapons variety.

Driving is very arcady. Is fast and fun. There are scapes, jumps, shooting among others that help the game to feel fresh.

Wei is able to aquire new habilities from his olf Kung Fu master and to level up his abilities with his experiencie as a cop... or foe.

The city is plaged with collectibles, safe boxes, statues, prayins shrines and security cameras. Every collectable has a purpose and helps trough the game to level up.

Dunting the journey Wey will find some women that will be able to help, but you hace to convince them to date you.

Sleeping Dogs is a fun game, wuth a lot of things to do, brutal, violent and advisable. With a 12 hours experience (main story) is a great game for open world gamers.

Lots of spelling mistakes but good review.

I loved the game, mainly because I played it on PC and enjoyed excellent graphics. PS3 is showing it's age.

The fighting and storyline are both brilliant elements of the game. I hope next time, there is more of a world to explore.

A lot of things were done really well this time around.
