Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots User Review

Metal Gear solid 4:

Let Me just say one thing before buying a ps3 , i was thinking a lot to go for a 360 , but Metal Gear Solid 4 sealed the deal , PS3 won hands down.


The good:

-solid snake voice acting is amazing.

-awesome graphics.

-care to the finest details (for example when aiming with an m4 right in front of the guy , the light produced from the light scope will temporarily blind site the enemy preventing him from attacking u)

-Epic story and characters ( with special refrence to Raiden , that guy is like super cool :D)

-Stealth and gadgets are off the charts.

-soundtrack is really good as well.

-Game is not too short neither too long.

-Amazing cut scenes and the way cut scenes flawlessly fuse into gameplay is really good.

-the game doesnt feel repetitive for one second.

-Metal gear online.

-Game supports Full HD 1080p (upscaled not native)


The bad:
-very complex story that may not be understood by players who missed other earlier games in the series. ( like myself)

-very long cutscenes.

-u have to go through a lot to play online that it becomes frustrating to most players (i myself down play this game online just because i have to create like a lot of accounts , every time i think about going through all this i just play Uncharted 2 online instead , maybe am too lazy , i dont know :D)

-No Gallery Mode (are u kidding me , i just dont understand why cant u add a gallery to view the cutscenes when u are not playing the game )

-There has been a rumor about a Trophy Patch for like forever and the patch never came out , by now i really doubt it ever will.

If u have a ps3 and never played this game , then really shame on you!!!
