Dragon Ball Z: Raging Blast User Review

As a longtime fan of the DragonBall Z games, I was extremely disappointed. As an installment on the PS3 I expected better graphics, better sound, and better everything. It was basically a rehash in my opinion of the other games.

The graphics are similar to what can be found on the PS2. I understand that there is only so far you can go with the cartoon style, but it is more or less the same.

The sound again was nothing spectacular. The control was destroyed by the camera angles. They zoom out and in far to slow to keep up with characters. Also the special moves were ruined in the new way you use them. It's much more about timing now than the correct combination. The replay value does redeem it in a lot of ways as I still play it with my friend quite often.

Overall I would never pay full price again for this game. I will however, recommend this game once it reaches bargain prices.
