Dragon Age: Origins User Review
For so many options of dialogue and so many different kinds of voiceovers, it seems hard to put quality into such a large amount. But, Bioware conquered that obstacle and put out some amazing quality in voice acting. The voices are believable and it seems as if it were a real conversation between real people. The options for your character's responses seemed infinite and made you feel as though your character was your own in terms of personality. These are the kind of games that players love to play through. Being able to decide the outcome, whether you know it or not, is just what we players love even more.
Although the graphics can not be called the greatest or among the greatest for this gen, they are not completely terrible. When a character showed emotion, it was obvious on their faces, and that part of the graphics were amazing. Maybe not graphics so much as it was detail. If someone were angry, you'd know. If someone were sad, you'd know. Just look at their faces.
The gameplay is just what you'd expect of an RPG. The customizable armors, the Final Fantasy XII styled fighting, and the storyline plot thickening with each step you take. Through every moment of the game, it will have you wondering what will happen next, which is, of course, entirely up to you. Not only is the plot and storyline of this RPG excellent, the character plots can keep you equally invoked in this game. Want a romance with one of your companions? Go ahead, just say the right things! Want to have one of your companions leave and never return? Just give them the hint, and they're gone!
Luckily, this game is equally challenging for anyone. Even on "Casual" the player could have a tough time on some events of the storyline. And, of course, the final boss, which is the big daddy of them all. Don't worry, I won't ruin anything. An RPG of this stature just deserves every possible praise for a GREAT addition to all the other fantasy RPGs. With unique beginnings that you can call your own and options that let you develop the story as you go, Dragon Age: Origins is nothing short of amazing, unique, and addicting.
