Naughty Dog Not Currently Working On Any Vita Games
Oh, leave 'em alone. They're busy with giant projects like The Last Of Us and Uncharted 4.
Still, I suppose everyone would've liked to see a Naughty Dog production for the PlayStation Vita. The excellent Uncharted: Golden Abyss was created by the Sony Bend studio, although Naughty Dog did consult on the project, as we understand it.
And the bottom line is that currently, the talented team doesn't plan to make any games for the PlayStation Vita. At first, it seemed they would: in speaking to GameTrailers and as cited by PSU, PlayStation brand marketing boss Guy Longsworth said Vita owners can expect first-party titles from all Sony studios, including "Naughty Dog, Guerrilla Games, Sony Santa Monica, and Media Molecule."
But Naughty Dog community head man Arne Meyer refuted that statement in the NeoGAF forums:
"We're not working on anything for PS Vita. I won't say never, ever, but there's no plans for it right now - we've always felt that consoles play to our strengths as a studio the best.
I hate to sound like a treading the line spin-meister here, but I've said that traditionally consoles have played to our strengths - and desires to push the utmost limit of resources and memory our tech and engine. That can change with the right handheld, as why I said I won't ever say 'never' but we hadn't encountered that yet."
There's no doubt that these guys need the power of a console like the PS3 to recognize their ambitious visions. As capable as the Vita is, it'd probably be pretty difficult to put The Last Of Us on there, right?

id much rather see them focus on console gaming, and leave portables to others.
bend is far more then capable of handling the uncharted series on vita!
in fact id go as far to say there even better suited then ND!
they made drake feel like a proper treasure hunter, instead of this faceless superhero!

Hopefully ND will give us a few grade-A Vita treats so these threads don't wind up looking more like a couple of leathery ole "Beggin' Strips"
